And to use some file like an image or sound all I had to do was put the image/sound in the project folder and I could use it any time, with Scite how do I even MAKE a 'project folder'? On my own personal computer I don't know how to set it all up properly. It allowed me to program, add new code files, compile it, run it. When we were learning it in school, all of that was already set up, to me it appeared to be an 'IDE' I guess and it did everything. Am I missing something? Do I need something other than Scite to actually run and compile my program's that I make? It is quite annoying to have decent (decent enough that is) programming knowledge but not understand how to use the required tools (or even know what those required tools are). Long story short again: I don't understand the TOOLS I need for programming. Sure, I can program in it, but how do I run it? Why won't it allow me to compile what I have written? I thought Scite would allow me to start a project, compile it, run it, and everything else.

So I don't need help with programming, I'd like the clarify that. I understand much of the python programming language and am planning to make a game using it. Which if you don't know is a 'text editor' I guess you would call it. Long story short: I need help understanding Scite.
